### New Features:

**velvet Day off event:**
- a new Day off event with velvet has been added.
- the event becomes available after reaching 20 affinity with velvet.
- includes story scenes, a small minigame to gain affinity, and additional character development and lore.

**mabel day off event:**
- a new Day off event with mabel has been added.
- the event becomes available after reaching 20 affinity with mabel.
- includes story scenes, a small minigame to gain affinity, and additional character development and lore.

**new mabel scene:**
- a new sex scene with mabel is now available after reaching 30 affinity with her.

**new chat notification system:**
- the "chat" option now turns yellow whenever a new dialogue becomes available, making new conversations easier to identify.

**discord activity system:**
- the game can now appear in Discord activity.
- it displays the current in-game day and weekday.
- when the player is in a day off event, the activity also shows which girl the player is spending the day with.

**save compatibility system:**
- a new safety script has been implemented to automatically convert old save files.
- players can now load saves from older versions, including saves from the very first release in july 2025.

**fae outfit system:**
- the option to choose fae's outfit, which was previously unavailable, has now been added.

**new outfit for velvet:**
- the option to choose velvet's outfit, which was previously unavailable, has now been added.
- a new outfit for velvet can now be unlocked after completing her first day off event.

**new outfit for mabel:**
- a new outfit for mabel can now be unlocked after completing her first day off event.

**academy background overhaul:**
- all internal academy backgrounds have been replaced with more detailed and visually improved versions.

**name secrets added:**
- multiple secrets have been added when entering certain names while choosing the protagonist's name.
- try experimenting with different names to discover them all.

### Improvements & Fixes

**font support update:**
- an additional font has been implemented so japanese and chinese characters now display correctly in some patreon supporter names.

**affinity progression fix:**
- fixed a bug where, if the player did not talk to a character between affinity checkpoints, future conversations would stop granting affinity correctly.

**outfit system fix:**
- fixed an issue where players could change a character's outfit before she was enrolled in the academy.

**android compatibility fix:**
- fixed an issue on newer android devices that restricted access to the android/data folder, preventing proper detection of whether standalone mgg:xd had been played.

**general improvements:**
- adjusted existing sprites and backgrounds for better consistency.
- dialogue changes in specific languages for better adaptation and context.
- various code improvements and bug fixes, improving overall stability and gameplay experience.
